We were looking for a place in the Pink Mountain area to have some food while we were traveling up to Fort Nelson. We came across this restaurant/pub which seemed to be very busy so we thought that we would try it out! It was great food! They had some wonderful soup! When we arrived, there was no one in the hotel, so the lady in the restaurant had to help us get a room standing on a staircase and with me was hard to go and with a canoe that lady wore my... Suggest all the way up, God bless her heart. The room was not clean and some of the leaves wear dirty, luck there were four beds in the room so we can choose a clean one. That is not a starhotel, but it is the best for miles. bed is comfortable, wifi is great, and its restaurant is open water temperature.
We stopped for dinner on our way to Fort Nelson and we are so glad we did. The menu was a bit limited, but that is to be expected in a remote location. However, the food that was served was truly amazing! The soup of the day, potato soup, was fantastic. We ordered cheeseburgers and they were made with local beef as advertised. The burgers were incredibly delicious and literally melted in our mouths. Our hostess/waitress was very sweet and attentive to all the guests in the dining room. Before we left, we bought a cookie from their selection of homemade baked goods and were even given a bowl of potato soup to take with us on the road. Thank you so much!
We decided to have breakfast at this restaurant on our way to Fort Nelson. We tried different types of breakfast scrambles topped with poutine and gravy, and they were absolutely delicious. Our server made sure our coffee cups were always full and was very friendly and attentive.
This restaurant is incredibly welcoming and cozy. The staff makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great option if you're looking for somewhere to eat late at night. Take a moment to admire the decor while you're here - you'll definitely want to return.
Nice place and friendly people. I got kicked in the mouth by a moose and they helped me find my teeth. Definitely be back for the desert once my chompers heal.
