What Debbie Kaiser doesn't like about Evey's Cafe:
Definitely NOT what it used to be! The burgers are smaller. The meat on the hot beef sandwich was gristly. The bread was soggy. The gravy was too salty...and covered the entire plate. Mashed potatoes had the consistency of day-old spuds. My husband can come back out here if he wants, too, but I'll stay home. Our waitress was loud and used profanity while conversing with customers. I haven't been here since I was a kid but it is a quaint little hometown restaurant. The young waitress was very friendly. The portions were generous and the food was delicious!
Good family diner. Great food, great service. Vegetarian options: I would prefer if they had more diabetic friendly food options.
As always, the food was excellent. It was prepared exactly to my instructions and the staff were very friendly.
I was just passing through town and enjoyed delicious homemade desserts and fresh coffee served by friendly local staff.
