Creekside Steak House Tavern - Payson

8/1/22- The food was good, generous portions but the waitress was soooooo bad.

Great small town setup and good food. Stopped here after a training run for a quick bite and got top notch service. They are very friendly and accommodating.

This place is a hidden gem ? in Arizona. If you are in the rim country this is a must stop. Great atmosphere, amazing staff and off the highway so all you can hear is the wind in the trees. I scheduled a wedding venue tour with their event coordinator Justin, and after driving 4 and a half hours to our scheduled appointment, was greeted with an extremely rude attitude from Justin saying that “there is no way a tour would have been scheduled for that day of the week at that time” as if he wasn’t the one who scheduled with me directly. I have messages with him confirming the date and time just a few weeks prior. He apparently booked our tour at the exact same day and time of a wedding. He forgot our appointment, didn’t take accountability for forgetting, and provided just about the worst customer experience I would ever expect to receive from someone who is supposed coordinate an expensive wedding. Very disappointed for the wasted time and gas, but thankful I didn’t end up locked in with him in charge of my wedding if that’s the way he treats his clients.

My wife, son, his wife and their baby went to the Creekside Tavern yesterday afternoon for dinner. Son and I had the filet, wife had the chicken alfredo and son's wife had rib eye. Food was very tasty and cooked exactly as ordered. Low point of the afternoon was the sour pus server, short but very rotund young lady. Checked the 20 percent tip box only out of obligation.
