Masser’s Chicken Shack - Paxinos

Food is good, service is absolutely horrible. Called in, was put on hold for a minute and a half, person picked up and couldn't hear me somehow? And they hung up. Call back again, they could hear me this time. Place an order and give my name for the order. Arrive in 20 min to pick up the order. There is no order there for my name they say. ... Ok... I just placed it on the phone. They search around for a few minutes and finally find the slip. I realized why they couldn't hear me on the phone; the radio is blasting by the cash register overhead (you can see it in the photos). I'm told my order is ready and the bag is placed on the counter. I grab it and quickly walk out just wanting to get out and get home. Of course, I arrive home to find that they forgot one of my sides. So now we have to go back again and pick that up... The chicken tenders were good. Main reason to come here. Garlic parm fries were ok; a bit undercooked soggy. Cole slaw... I guess I'll find out when I go back to pick it up.

Best chicken sandwiches in the area!! If you like chicken this is the place for you. We enjoy the variety of sides also !!

Chicken was good. Was disappointed in the signage for Masser's. We were looking for the restaurant and there's a big sign out front of the shack in the parking lot but nothing on the other building for the actual restaurant. The chicken shack handled our order like champs. Not being local, walking in really threw us off. We stayed because we were hungry and it didn't disappoint. Next time we will know.

The low rating is for the fact that the owner has a bad attitude. She acts as though it is a privilege that I am her customer. She is snarky and has a sharp tongue. I will no longer be a customer until the ownership changes I don't appreciate the attitude. The person I am referring to is on the left of this photo.

I've only had the Fried Catfish, but it was amazing. Both times I've been in there they've stayed busy and seemed to be really popular with locals. Definitely can't wait to go back.
