Service and food good. Received everything in a timely manner. Seated promptly.
First visit to Rustic Table Was not disappointed. Service was outstanding even though restaurant was very busy. Brunch menu was extensive with something for everyone. My shrimp and grits was wonderful and my wife's salad was huge. Will certainly return.
Our waitress, Annabella, was phenomenal. The food was delicious. Overall a very positive experience. We will be back.
Great place. One of our favorite spots where we live.
Great food and great service. A little loud outside the covered patio area but mostly from rude people close talking so loudly with no regard for others
Tucked away in Pawley's Island, the Rustic Table shines as a culinary gem, celebrated for its inviting atmosphere and attentive service. Diners rave about standout dishes like the shrimp and grits, brie with honey pear, and the famed calamari, touted as the best around. While the menu offers a delightful selection—including delicious brunch options and refreshing cocktails—guests have noted a few minor missteps, such as sweet tartar sauce and the occasional ingredient mishap. Nonetheless, the overall experience is marked by fresh flavors, generous portions, and reasonable prices, making it a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike.

I made reservations a week in advance and ended up waiting about 15 minutes. The restaurant is quite popular. The food was outstanding, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was a bit noisy since the place was packed and the tables were close together. We sat outside, and the weather was just perfect. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Just finished up a good lunch in Pawley’s Island. The oyster poboy was good but I’ve had better. Everything was good but the tartar sauce was sweet (need to use Dukes mayo). Oysters were great. The fried green tomato side was thick crust and I prefer tender flaky crust. But, they were good. The side caesar salad I got had tomatoes and cucumbers with dressing on the side. Not what I would call a caesar salad.
I cannot say enough about how yummy this food was! I had the salmon special of the evening and it was incredible! Husband got fried soft shell crab on a large salad and it was also delicious. Blueberry sangria was perfect as well as the other drinks our friends had. You won’t be disappointed. I am a key lime pie nut and got mine to go. I have to say that it was not the best. I was a little disappointed but definitely would go back and give another dessert a shot!
Great service. Super accommodating even during very busy times.. Food was really damn good... Had drinks and dessert.. All of it was amazing.. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!
We are new to Pawleys and the Rustic Table came highly recommended. The food and fish were fresh and very tasty. The kids burgers here are amazing, coming with fruit and fries it was more than enough probably even for an adult. We took home a lot of food, next time we will likely just split the kids meal.My wife ordered the special of the day and it had good flavor, only thing was the scales of the fish really got mixed into her grits they came with and kind of ruined the experience for her.The gravy biscuit and fried chicken were great! Nice seasoning, not overwhelming peppery as most places seem to get.Over all our dinner was great! Prices were good on everything, the special being a special was priced as a special hah, too bad it was full of scales. We'll be back here again though!
Celebrated my birthday here a few years ago and have remembered it happily! Such a delicious brunch! It was a warm day and we sat outside but under cover. The food was just so good!

As newcomers to Pawleys Island, we had heard wonderful things about the Rustic Table, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and flavorful, with the fish being a standout. The kids' burgers were a hit, served with both fruit and fries—a generous portion that could easily satisfy an adult. We ended up with plenty of leftovers, so next time, we'll probably just share a kids' meal. My wife tried the special of the day, which she enjoyed, although she found some fish scales mixed in with her grits, which was a bit disappointing. However, the biscuits with gravy and the fried chicken were excellent, perfectly seasoned. All in all, we had a fantastic dinner at reasonable prices. Despite the minor issue with the fish scales, we will definitely be returning to the Rustic Table.
All of our family's meals were fantastic! Our server was great and handled everything efficiently, ensuring all her tables were well taken care of. The shrimp and grits were spot on, and the brisket nachos were amazing! The kids' peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich was enormous! The food was worth every penny! I would definitely recommend this place and would happily come back!
I decided to take a Saturday drive out to Pawley's Island, and before heading to the beach, we stopped at the Rustic Table for lunch. It turned out to be a great choice! We started with the brie, which was served with honey, pear, and pecans. I couldn't capture a good photo because we devoured it so quickly! I also ordered the shrimp corn chowder, which was excellent. For the main course, I had the hot (spicy) fried chicken biscuit with sweet potato fries, while my wife enjoyed a salad with shrimp. Both dishes were outstanding, and my wife nearly finished hers—an impressive feat for her! The service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable (I had a glass of wine, and my wife ordered a drink). If I return to Pawley's Island, I will definitely be visiting the Rustic Table again.
The service and food at this restaurant were outstanding. Our server, Ariel, was both friendly and attentive. We kicked off our meal with the brisket nachos, not realizing they also offered a complimentary loaf of bread. The nachos were fantastic and the portion size was generous. However, had we known about the bread, we probably wouldn't have ordered the nachos, as we ended up quite full before our main courses arrived. I ordered The Comfort, which featured fried chicken on a biscuit topped with gravy and served with fries—it was incredible! The atmosphere was lovely, and although the prices were a bit on the higher side, it was definitely worth it. The restaurant was also very clean. Unfortunately, this is likely our last visit to the area, but if we happen to return, we will certainly stop by again.
We decided to wait for Sunday brunch since there were no reservations available for Father's Day, and it was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious and mouthwatering food. The four of us will definitely return. Mary gives it a four-star rating! She's also known as Proud Mary.
