Right across from The Mercantile in Pawhuska, I don't think this place is yet well known to visitors. We discovered it while on the waiting list for the restaurant, and there was absolutely no wait. Glad we made this stop the pizza was incredible, with perfectly brewed iced tea. If we had room, we would have taken them up on their delicious looking desserts! Friendly and fast service. What Jagcar doesn't like about P-town Pizza:
Disappointed. Inaccessible to my family due to multiple stairs . Why was this building renovated and no provision made for people who use wheelchairs? Surprises me knowing the wealth of the owners. View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience! We quickly got a table and ordered the Not Knots and a Veggie pizza, which we topped with two sausages. We also tried a mango beer that was incredibly smooth and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by—both the pizza and the service were fantastic. Food rating: 5/5.
The pizza and lasagna were outstanding. We were really looking forward to trying the salad, but unfortunately, it lacked seasoning and vinegar in the dressing, leaving it just swimming in oil. However, our server managed the situation wonderfully. Nothing in life is perfect, and what truly matters is how we handle those moments. I was genuinely impressed by the kindness and care we received regarding our less-than-perfect salad! It had a generous amount of toppings, too! I can't wait to come back and give it another shot. Thank you for a delightful meal!
Located directly across from The Mercantile in Pawhuska, this restaurant is still somewhat hidden from visitors. We stumbled upon it while waiting for a table at another place, and to our delight, there was no wait here at all. The pizza was fantastic, paired perfectly with their freshly brewed iced tea. If we had had any extra space, we would have loved to try their tempting desserts! The service was friendly and quick. Just a heads up: you have to walk up some stairs to reach the restaurant. Overall, it has a rustic yet cozy vibe, perfect for enjoying a good meal. Plus, there’s a sweet shop next door to the pizzeria!
We ordered the "not-knots" after seeing Rea make them on TV. When they arrived, they were only warm and quite dense, although they were tasty. The Steakhouse pizza was excellent; the crust was well-made, and the fried mushrooms were a standout topping for me. At the end of our meal, after our leftovers were packed up, we saw the table next to us receive some not-knots, and they looked incredible—steaming and fluffy. When our server returned with our change, I asked if we could get just one of those not-knots since they looked so much better than what we were served. She left, and soon the manager came over to inform us that she would send us an order to go, explaining that there had been an issue in the kitchen with precooking them, which is why the ones at the neighboring table looked so good. Since we hadn’t had our server check on us, we hadn’t been able to mention anything sooner. The new order of not-knots was hot and fluffy, and even though we were already full, we couldn’t resist having two each before leaving.
The pizza was excellent, featuring a unique crust that can only be achieved in a wood-fired oven. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a pioneer woman's charm. Food: 4/5.
