Carlitos - Pavia

This restaurant is located in Barangay Mali-aw, Pavia, conveniently nestled between the main roads that lead to Santa Barbara town. In addition to serving delicious meals, they offer a wide selection of local delicacies, including butterscotch, polvoron, biscochos, and more. Many tourists come specifically to purchase these treats as pasalubong (gifts for loved ones) for their families. Even those living abroad often suggest that their balikbayan relatives bring these delightful goodies back with them when they return home.

This is a fantastic place to grab snacks and souvenirs before heading to Iloilo Airport. It's conveniently situated along the highway and they serve breakfast all day!

I was disappointed with the quality of the food. They served us inasal chicken that was almost raw. It was very hot outside, and the staff did not bother to turn on the air conditioning or even the fan. At the time, there were only two other customers in the restaurant. The staff member seemed more interested in her phone than in providing service. Sadly, my last meal during my vacation in Iloilo was a letdown.
