Senza Regole - PATTI

Low season when we ate, so in the main body of the restaurant. We don't speak Italian but were made very welcome. Apart from us it seemed to be locals eating. Bread and bread sticks whilst we waited. Two starters: a seafood salad, and octopus (arguably a whole one judging by the portion I was surprised it wasn't delivered by fork lift truck); mains were a prawn and pistachio risotto (slightly firm but interesting), and a gorgeous ham pizza. One beer, plus water, plus coffee. About E70. Charming waiter, good pace service. Never a fan of places showing Tv high spot was he waiter being out of the room for the only goal of the game. Functional rather than romantic room, but the chef throwing the pizzas is clearly in view. Lights a bit bright.

Adhoc visit to a reastaurant nearby. Ended up being supernice. Great service, great food, great wines. Local and easygoing.

Had pasta and takeaway pizza , food was good, service was fast, prices were very good. However the decor was a bit tired, although it didn't seem to have any effect on the amount of diners.

We ate here 3 times during our 12 day holiday, the spaghetti vongole (clams) was great and so were the pizzas. The only downside was that there was no translation on the menu so sometimes a gamble. All the dishes were very tasty

We ate here four times during our time in Patti. The pizza cooked in a wood fired oven were amongst the best we have eaten. The other dishes antipasta, pasta, main dishes and side dishes were very good. The staff were very friendly. After our second visit we were greeted like friends and our regular drinks order remembered.
