Randomly stopped here while on a day trip north and was really pleased with the food and the attentive, friendly service. Burger, fries and Grilled Cheese sandwich were all on point. Update: about a year since my original review I happened to be driving by Putnam Diner on my way home and stopped in again. The food and service was every bit as good as the first visit. Turkey club was good homefries dried out taste like they use prepackaged peeled potatoes they use off brand ketchup no heinz. hamburger was asked medium was well done
