this is a beautiful place for a romantic dinner or with close friends. they get complementary starters and future drinks, we had early roll on our first visit and this time we got a som-tam. we ordered the tofu and cashewnuss and a yellow curry and a starter of deep roasted vegetables. all very delicious, but we would have enjoyed it if there were more heat. Outstanding culinary experience over the two days we were here in Pattaya for a holiday. With the rapid rise in tourism again in Pattaya post-covid, it is very difficult to find a restaurant that specialises in excellent Thai cuisine in central Pattaya. May’s Pattaya is our base for dinner (a short grab ride from the Intercontinental Pattaya where we were staying). Most dishes we ordered were successful over the two days. Of particular mention was the May’s curry and the fish curry which were bursting with flavour and wonderful aroma from the liberal herbs used. The crab cake was memorable and so did the desserts (the pancakes and mango sticky rice were crazily good). The pandan leaf chicken was ok, and perhaps due to the curries we ordered, the tom kha gai paled in comparison and did not contrast well. Still, May’s Pattaya is an excellent find and we will be here again for our next holiday. We also had the opportunity to chat with the owner on the second night. Totally memorable experience!

Seemed that he was only nice to the regulars. It was a pity that we got bad service, otherwise we would have ordered more and stayed longer .
The food and service were very good, we had the mixed starters, curry trio and prawns with garlic and black pepper all very nice. Interesting decor and nice vibe and while the food and service were very good we have had as good for a lower price.
A hidden gem! Situated in a street where you only see humble houses, this restaurant has it all: delicious food, carefully arranged, very nice decoration, comfortable temperature and friendly staff. It’s a great spot for a date. We were offered a welcome drink, a starter and rice for free. I definitely recommend it!
What a lucky find, women owned. Her touch and passion comes across in every detail, from the decoration, dishes, quality of food and trained service. Slightly pricey, but worth every penny. You will be enjoying every minute in here.
