Paratha House - Patna

One of the few eateries in this town that looks a little cool! I've ordered from Paratha house twice & unfortunately it wasn't that great on the 1st occasion when I ordered a Paneer parantha & a veg chowmein but managed to do well the next time. Contrary to the name, the place makes pretty bad paranthas. Its fat, too oily & the filling is one of the worst I've tasted. The chowmein was given as a mixable combo; the noodles & a gravy of super oily sauce with vegetables. Couldn't even finish the whole thing. The service is extremely bad with absolutely no knowledge of furnishing orders in a FIFO manner. The staff is impolite & pays no heed to the customers at all. After this experience, I didn't wanna visit the outlet ever again! But, in a contingent situation one night, I had to give it a try once again. This time I decided to for the combo of Paneer butter masala & plain paranthas. To my surprise it was serviced quickly & the taste was great! This did pick my confidence in the restro and I would surely try it once again if need be. The packing is good and gives you all the reason to trust them with quality food. Overall Recommendation : Order at home, stick to the basics on the menu & avoid something fancy. Eating at the shop is surely unadvisable as you'll end up eating a lot of dust as well. This is another of my transit locations for getting packed meals during journey. Have tried a couple of their non veg paranthas and chicken dishes. I liked the mutton paranthas. Nothing spectacular about it, but nothing bad also. Decent option for both quick meal and take away.

Pathetic food here. How difficult it is to make a decent Paratha? Apparently very difficult for Paratha House! Asked for a simple paneer and onion Paratha. What I got instead was a bland, tasteless piece of roti. Paneer inside had no taste whatsoever. It was like they just took the paneer and stuffed it inside. There were like 4-5 slices of onion. Must have fallen in there by mistake. There are better places to have parathas in Patna. Avoid this place.

Varieties of paratha...gr8 taste..More than value for money....must visit once. Less varieties in veg & non- veg cuisines...but good dipps available. Methi and kishmish paratha's are something to try once.... While placing orders if you ask them to take care of amount of oil to be used or any other complimentary they do take care. Compared to rest available outlets in Patna under paratha category....Paratha house may be only or one of the best option you get in the city. Only issue you might face will be placing home delivery after 8:30 pm should exceed a given amount depending how far you live from the outlet... Actually it's common for every other food point to do but you'll face usually with paratha house for sure..... Taste: 7/10 Packing/Parcel: 7.5 Service:6.5 Health & hygiene maintained:7/10 Ambience:no dine in option but people can have food on stoll or sometimes while standing ????
