Cafe Green Eye - Hotel The Panache

We often visit this cafe sue to it's beautiful ambience and delicious food. Therefore when we got an opportunity to host a very special guest of ours, we choose to host them here. Unfortunately, the staff present there when we visited today (i.e 4th April, 2021, 5:00 PM) was very unprofessional and ignorant. While serving his mouth was not covered with mask and when my mother tried to bring that to his notice he started arguing that even we are not wearing masks. I wanted to explain him that it's highly unlikely to eat while mask on but he was beyond logic. An average buffet option. Variety was less and taste was average, nothing extraordinary. Prices could be better at this quality. Ambience is quite nice though, especially if you sit near the big windows.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. It can be expensive but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out before you book. Highly recommended.

What is a restaurant? They call it fine dining. Restaurants in this city don't understand service. 1. At 6.45pm I am told that I cannot be served because it is too early. And i have to wait 2. Ordered a pizza at 7am (which was normal by the way) and then asked the waiter to get me some food from their seasoned dish on the 1st floor or something else (please note that, on the pretext that some, they already gave me Refused Service Cleaning was in progress) 2. They were asked to give me a sizzling brownie (which had a green symbol for fully vegetarian) but it comes with egg by default. So why is there a green symbol next to it? That too in a supposedly good restaurant ... and mind you, it's the second time it happened when they screwed up this vegetarianism ... 3. Irritated by their behavior, I didn't feel like having anything more there after this pizza ... so I paid them with a 2K note and guessed what the waiter was telling me ... please give change !!!! With a frowning face ... It was highs ... you go to a five star hotel, you pay a premium to avoid all these trivial problems, and that's what you serve ... Absolutely pathetic ... this city almost always disappoints ...
