Giving two stars as they had decent Bengali mishti. Not at all close to what you get back home but we went for the love for Bengali. The snacks were not good at all. The place is dingy and dirty. The young gentleman at the counter is very cold. The old gentleman is very warm. Go if you are missing bengal but not a good environment. We took tea which was good and sweets were ok. I recommend visiting on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday after 10 AM, as that’s when I usually find myself in Paterson and craving a bite to eat during work. Plus, it's conveniently located near my job.

This is a fantastic restaurant for Bangladeshi cuisine in New Jersey. They offer a variety of freshly prepared hot dishes, baked items, sweets, and desserts, along with tea. You can also place orders in advance for any Deshi food you desire, including biryani, vegetables, fish, meat, dal, and more. Keep in mind that parking in the area can be challenging, as street parking is limited on the busy street. Just a little reminder!

Authentic Bangladeshi Cuisine. The food was delicious, and Zakir Bakery will be our go-to spot for Bangladeshi meals from now on.

I went to this restaurant and I ordered veal biryani, chicken Samosas, and a mango Lassi the chickens Samosas were crispy and crispy, while the calves biryani was soft and tasteful the best Bangladeshi lifes I tasted I recommend this restaurant

Good place to buy cooked Bengali food and sweets. Their items include biryanis, roast chicken, beef and fish dishes. Prices are decent.
