If you visit NYC and don't eat a dollar slice, we cannot be friends. I have never ate here before, but got a pie to share with a few of my friends. The slice was well baked with light cheese sauce. Delicious. View all feedback.
What Glenn C doesn't like about Mina 99¢ Up Place:
This is likely one of the busiest 1 dollar slices usually with a good amount of tourists, locals looking for quick grub, and commuters going to Port Authority who aren't passing the 2Bros further west or north. I prefer the nearby 2Bros on 39th even though their slices have gone up 50 cents but it gets the job done and it's hard to argue with the price unless you're in Flushing or Chinatown where there are 30 better... The 99cent Pizza places are starting to disappear with the rise of prices so it is nice to still have this one around. The pizza is good but needs to be cooked a little more. The sauce is good and the pizza makes a nice snack. It is good but not great pizza. They need to cook the pizzas a bit more.

The best of the 99 Cent spots is at W4th which is abnormally consistent being hot and fresh but this one is alright. Don't bother adding toppings as putting generic store bought pepperoni or other things only hurts your wallet and makes you wonder why you were at the cheapo spot in the first place.
So many other restaurants are more expensive and have you wait for food. 99 cent pizza is a great way to balance your budget. Eat fast and cheap when you can, my friend. 99 cent pizza is hot and a slice fills the belly.
One of the best pizzas in midtown! Waited a bit, but the two men working were so fast! Good slice in the city!
It's cheap pizza and honestly it's good, got a cheese and a slice with pepperoni and sausage. They were both good! Cheapest meal we had in NYC after a late broadway show! Guys at the counter were pretty funny too!
