I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.
My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Jon Jax Soul Food restaurant. We were recommended by a friend who insisted that the food was amazing. It was our first time there, and we were welcomed with respect and courtesy as new customers. They even gave us free sodas and a delightful dessert. We ordered two whiting fish meals, one with Mac and Cheese and Candy Yams, and the other with Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad. The portions were just right and satisfying. I really wanted some collard greens, but they were unfortunately out of them, which is a good sign that they must be popular. I am looking forward to returning. You can tell that the food is cooked with love and is highly regarded in the community. Despite being in the "hood" of Paterson, I knew it would not disappoint. The carrot cake is a must-try and worth taking home. I can't wait to try the banana pudding and red velvet cake next time.

This is a great place! They were super sweet and accommodating. Very nice people and I love how strong the sense of community is here. Food is amazing my friends and I couldn't stop talking about it, we will definitely go back when in that area.
