And, we were so lucky to get in without a reservation! Actually one of the few places where the staff did their best to speak English (very rare in Valencia)! Malkebien should be on your todo-list for Valencia!!!

If you had this 11€ menu in the centre it would easily reach 25€! This menu includes an appetiser, first plate (usually rice, pasta or savoury pastry), second plate (meat or fish), dessert, coffee, drink, and bread. No hidden costs here!! Down side is the neighbourhood. Not well known and certainly off the beaten track which keeps this being one of the best kept culinary secrets in the city. Upside! Everything else. Price, service and above all the quality of the food. Must book table because it's always full.
