RHUM never fails to impress. I've been there for lunch a few times, and the food is consistently delicious. I recently hosted my bridal shower in their charming private room (March '22), and it was absolutely perfect. Both the salmon and the island castles were fantastic. Their house rum is without a doubt my favorite flavor; I need to get my hands on the secret recipe! This is truly a great restaurant.
Our waitress recommended the duck empanadas, and they were absolutely amazing. The dipping sauce, enhanced with horseradish, was a nice touch. The tacos were incredible, and I could eat them every day. I've heard their Key Lime Pie is award-winning, and after trying it, I can see why. The filling was a perfect balance of sour and sweet, but the crust was truly the star of the show. I’m already planning to order a whole pie on my next visit. I can't remember the last time I left a restaurant already excited about what I wanted to try next (Dominican Ribs and Key Lime Pie). I highly encourage everyone to try something unique and delicious at this place. You've definitely gained a new fan!
The drinks and service were excellent. The food was just average. The atmosphere is quite lively and noisy, making it a great spot for gathering with friends before going out for the night.

I found this spot by accident and I was happy about it! The atmosphere is worth the price of admission and they know it and own it. Tropical vibes with a menu that has a flair for the adventurous with flavor profiles to match! I enjoyed the special guacamole appetizer that they offer lots of yum and a decent portion. The Sticky Ribs were my Achilles heel there soft, fall off the bone and overly delicious... only issue is there weren't enough! The tacos are fun as well; but keep in mind they're sold individually so you'll need to order a few if you're really hungry. They also have a nice drink menu; but I didn't have any with my lunch. I'd recommend.

The tacos were the best I've ever had, and the slaw must be made fresh daily. They boast about their award-winning key lime pie, and after tasting it, I can't dispute that claim. The filling was a perfect balance of sour and sweet, but the standout was definitely the crust. I might just have to order an entire pie to go next time! I can't remember the last time I left a restaurant already planning what I wanted to try next (the Dominican ribs and key lime pie again). I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, and our server was exceptional! Today, they had a special on tacos, so we sampled the breaded sage shrimp, coconut shrimp, and jerk chicken tacos. My favorite dish is the island burger, which I always get with a wonderfully juicy slice of char-grilled pineapple. There's a lovely bar on the first floor, as well as rooftop seating, which enhances the fantastic atmosphere.
We had a reservation for Saturday night, and the bar had a lively atmosphere with music set at just the right volume. We were seated on the mid-level, and our waitress was both friendly and attentive. My wife's mango margarita was spot on, and my hot and stormy cocktail was fantastic (I need to learn how to make that!). The wing appetizer was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor. I really enjoyed my pork tenderloin, and the risotto was cooked just right. My wife's fish tacos were also delicious. This place has become one of our favorites in the area, and we plan to keep coming back.
I recommend checking out the restaurant's website before you go to find out if they have any special events, such as happy hours, drink or appetizer deals, or live music, as these can make their higher prices more worthwhile. We especially liked the rastaman taco with fried avocado, but the island slaw was overdone; it seemed to be added to nearly every dish, even as a garnish. Moreover, both the jerk chicken and the sweet potato side with pistachios could use some improvement.
The ambiance is quite charming, capturing a genuine Caribbean vibe. The cocktails are excellent. The service is satisfactory. While I'm not a fan of French fries, everything else was enjoyable.

RHUM consistently impresses me. I've visited several times for lunch, and the food is always outstanding.
