The acous... read more I visited Jazz UpFront on a Saturday evening in November 2023 to watch my son perform. I arrived early to secure a front-row table right by the stage. The acoustics in the venue were excellent, and since it's a small space, the bands could rely on stage amplification instead of a full PA system, which contributed to the cozy atmosphere. Although I didn't sample any food, my top-shelf drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced. The wait staff was attentive and checked in on us several times throughout the evening. There didn't seem to be a mandatory cover charge, but that might vary depending on the performer. I asked the bartender if children under 21 could enter as long as they were with their parents, but he informed me that unfortunately, they can't, which makes sense, as this is primarily a jazz club for adults looking to enjoy some drinks and live music. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Jazz UpFront!

While we're not really into bars or clubs, this place is our go-to spot when we do decide to go out—9 times out of 10, it's here. I really appreciate the live music and the cozy atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the bartenders are always prompt, welcoming, and attentive. I've never had to wait for a drink or struggle to get the bartender's attention, which I really enjoy. They have a solid selection of tequilas, and it’s reasonably priced for a night out. I believe they only serve Butch’s pizza for food, but if I’m not mistaken, you can bring your own food in as well. They also do a fantastic job hosting parties, baby showers, and such. We love this place!
