The food and... read more This restaurant has many seating choices and neat decorations. When you arrive you think 'wow, this is going to be a great experience!' But. Sadly. The food and service are almost not even average. Our group ordered some pasta dishes and a pizza, as well as drinks. The house wine was a good price, but we could barely find a waiter to get a refill. The food was very average, in fact one of our friends had to send her food back because she disliked it so much. The waiter was very nice about it, once he came around to check on our table. The waiter did provide good service then and gave a free dessert to the friend. It was just unfortunately that the service, overall, was not adequate. At the time of our visit the restaurant was not busy, so it was odd that the service was not good.

( All those other establishments in this part of South America that say they offer pizza actually offer a mushy piece of cardboard with some little bits of ham and maybe pineapple on it).Figo offers real pizza that is a culinary delight. It is rich with olive oil, cheese, and the toppings of your choice. My favorite topping is chicken, and even a small pizza always results in a big to-go box even after dining.A small appetizer is served before your meal, and the wait staff is courteous and very helpful.Figo also has entrees other than pizza which generally are pasta-based. Figo is a sit-down restaurant located in a nice part of town. It's a great place for a date, or a nice business lunch. (no, there are no arcade games -,this is a spot for a special meal rather than a casual pizzeria).Sophisticated travelers who are in this area who already know what teal pizza tastes like (because they have been to New York, Philly, Chicago, Italy or other pizza meccas) should definitely plan a lunch or dinner at Figo...

There were some tables empty so the restaurant was not at full capacity and yet the service was really, REALLY bad. They took our order and after 15-20 minutes we mentioned for the first time to one of the waiters that they hadn't brought out water. Five or seven minutes later, we asked another waiter. When that failed, some minutes later I went to the woman behind the cashier who seemed to be the administrator. We were starving and thirsty, and they couldn't bring out a pitcher of water or some bread! The water finally came out and they told us they had run out of bread, which of course induced a lot of eye-rolling. Then the drinks finally came out, with the food shortly afterwards. The food was OK, not bad but definitely not worth the 45 minute wait. The waiters were very apologetic, which we appreciated (and we had a sense of humor about the whole thing), but I was appalled that they charged us "propina" (tip) and that, despite recognizing the gaps in the service, they didn't offer a courtesy dessert or a discount or something. That especially demonstrated very poor customer service and common sense. They really need to get their act together.

Everything was good, the staff is very friendly, even the place is well located in a security area, the menu have a lot of options, beautiful place for enjoying... read more Everything was good, the staff is very friendly, even the place is well located in a security area, the menu have a lot of options, beautiful place for enjoying with friends or a date, not too nice, but casual, the prices are ok, the plates were bigger that I expected so I definitely recommend it.
