Truly a place from times gone by, this mezedoupolio managed by a nice family with all generations, as per Greek tradition and fortunately light years away from the new Mykonos style places which unfortunately this year are starting to invade Rhodes... we chose the fixed price mezedes menu at €12 per person excluding drinks and, sitting at a comfortable table on the veranda, they brought us a good quantity of excellent mezes, with fresh ingredients expertly cooked by the mothers of the family, with really strong flavours. Greek salad, fresh cut french fries, croquettes filled with cheese, tyrokafteri, baked aubergines and feta, dolmades (among the best I've ever eaten), two slices of meat and a final sweet cone, a slice of some sort of chocolate salami and biscuits. With half a liter of bulk wine, which was also good (much appreciated as they let us taste the various types of bulk wine they had to help us choose the best) excellent cost of €27 in total. Stay like this next year too, thank you!

Great little find... wanted something close to the airport as we are staying in Gennadi and had to drop the kids off. Very friendly, great traditional Greek food, very reasonable prices... will be back next week when it's our turn to go to the Airport and home.
