We have the trio: black beans with chicken, chorizo con papa and carne asada. The tortillas are so good. He pushes them by hand when he makes the tacos. There is an excellent balance of taste with the right amount of salt, spices and texture. If you want to heat it up, ask for Salsa. These tacos are not even sharp. However, these tacos are abundant. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday and had to wait around 20 to 30 minutes in line. However, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, which made the wait feel much shorter than it actually was. I ordered the Villas Trio for $14, and it was absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be returning!
The lines here are always long, but the tacos are definitely worth the wait. Each order comes with a generous scoop of guacamole at no extra charge. There's a wide range of salsas available, from mild to extremely spicy, along with various types of onions that you can add. I believe they'll stop grilling their meats and proteins soon, but they will continue serving what they have until it runs out. They accept cash, Venmo, and Cash App as payment options.
Back to the best tacos in LA run two years! Not only do we enjoy packing some tacos of Vic Villa and his family on the BLVD every couple of weeks, but we had them recently in our house in HLP for a post-wdding brunch and all in the presence was blown away! They really love what they do and it shows. We wish them the best in their search for a permanent location in HLP and beyond! CON TACOS TODO ES POSIBLE!
The 7 layer taco lives up to it's reputation. Handmade blue corn tortillas with crispy cheese along with creamy refried beans, diced onions, cilantro, crema, cojita, guacamole, and the mesquite grilled meat of choice (chicken, meat, or pork. I recommend their 3 taco special which includes three 7 layer taco with each of their meats for $14, and comes with their delightful salsas. One of my favorites in LA for sure. IG:. Kay_okay_eats
Local, family owned, award-winning business. Generous portions for the price and though it 's take out only, they ensure that your food makes it home safely. Don 't wait too long to eat it though as it 's best when fresh. Their standard blue corn tortilla and layers of garnishes make this a must! Open only in certain days, for which they forecast on Instagram. Payment methods are varied and if ordering ahead , do so days ahead of time via their Instagram.
