My boyfriend's parents and I decided to try this restaurant for brunch after facing a long wait at another place. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. I was the last one in our group of 4 to receive my order of meatloaf and fries, but the waiter mistakenly brought me meatloaf with mashed potatoes instead. After sending the plate back to get the correct order, I noticed the waiter's bare thumb touching my meatloaf. The meatloaf itself was barely warm, dry, and seemed old. It left me feeling queasy afterwards. Just something to keep in mind for future visits.

This diner offers a variety of breakfast options and has a great family-friendly atmosphere. While it may not be a typical brunch spot with Mimosas and fancy Benedicts, the food is solid. The scramble had a bit too much cheese, but the hash browns were cooked perfectly. The trainwreck dish was just okay, but the real standout was the Johnny Cakes. These cakes were light, fluffy, and had a fantastic texture thanks to the delicious buckwheat and cornmeal combo. The staff was polite and efficient, and despite it being a busy Memorial Day, our food came out quickly. We will definitely return if we are in the area.

Visited on July 24, 2022. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant. There was a sign asking guests to wait to be seated, but since there were only a few people dining, we were allowed to choose our own table. We opted for one of the booths against the wall. The waiter came over promptly to take our drink order. My friend ordered the Michalada, and while the same waiter was preparing it, he was wiping his hands on his clothes without an apron or kitchen towel. The prices at this restaurant were similar to others in the area. I chose the Eggs Such section and ordered two eggs fried hard, with bacon, home fries (potatoes), and wheat toast for $10. I requested that the potatoes be cooked crispy to ensure they were fully done. Our food arrived quickly and was hot. Everything was delicious except for the potatoes, which seemed to have been pre-cooked and then reheated. I did not enjoy them. I also had a cappuccino for $4.75, which was decent after adding sugar. Overall, the experience was good, but the restaurant could improve its food preparation practices.

14$ for a giant serving of crispy home fries and scramble....goat scramble-ie goat cheese....very good simple food....a lot of choices....sides....drinks....alcohol! Friendly service....I'd go again

I honestly cannot believe that this happened to my family this morning. We were just done ordering our food when the woman who sat us at our table came over and asked me to take my 1 year old outside because they were being too noisy and disturbing otherguests. I personally thought she was joking as our daughter wasn?t constantly being loud. (I?ve worked in the restaurantbusiness and definitely have dealt with loud babies) never once would I ever ask that person to take their child outside. I evenasked the tables next to us if we were disturbing them at all. All replied no. And even said ?we?re grandparents, it isn?tbothering us? and they apologized and wished us a better day. Better believe we cancelled our food order immediately and left.Enjoyed COWGIRL CAFE. They were lovely and couldn?t believe what had happened to us as well. Will NOT be going back ever againand will continue to let others know of how RUDE they were to us.
