Cowgirl Cafe has been the family's favorite breakfast meeting place for many years. Time is always set aside for a meal Cowgirl's before leaving town when the kids come to visit. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Menu has something for everyone. Portions are generous. Food is delicious and served hot. Plan on a bit of a wait for a table it's a popular place. What Mohamed Feil doesn't like about Cowgirl Cafe:
Went for breakfast a few days ago. Pretty uninspiring. Omelet was kind of tasteless and Dry. Overcooked. My wife’s pancakes were also dry. Ordered a side order of sausage. Nuked. It’s like there are not enough cook staff and they are cooking in bulk and keeping it (semi) warm. Overall disappointing. A pity as others had told us it was good. Décor is old school. Very good service, very good food. Nice selection to choose from. I would go again. Short stack of pancakes was HUGE!
A nice little local diner that has some pretty good breakfast! The staff was friendly, attentive and knew some of the regulars by name. There is outside, inside and bar seating. I had the Biscuits and Gravy platter that came with hashbrowns or fried potatoes and a side of sunny-side eggs. It was pretty tasty, the gravy was good and the biscuits were a good size. The eggs were good too, sometimes it's easy to mess up something simple. I had some coffee too, it was pretty good and I don't think my cup ever got past half empty! All in all, it's a good place for a nice sit-down meal and I'll more than likely be back!
The staff was friendly and had a smile the whole time. The food wasn't what I was expecting. I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and upgraded to biscuits and gravy. The steak was small but good. The eggs were good as well. The hash browns they served were more of just potatoes, not shredded and crisp like hash browns should be. The biscuits and gravy were thick and cold. Long story short I think they were just a quick bite for tourists. We didn't eat everything that was served and they didn't mind charging us the full price.
