Asian Cravings Cafe - Paso Robles

Wow! This place is a must for food. Tiny small cafe-style restaurant with just about 5 tables. Order and pay at the counter with open view of the small kitchen. Menu has literally like 9 items on it. The owner used to have a food truck in LA before he went to Paso Robles. The food is excellent. We had to start the grilled pig and shrimp potstickers. They were perfectly cooked and came with a selection of diving sauce a sweet chilli oil and a jalapeno seasoned soy sauce. Then we split two main dishes. The miso glazed salmon over rice was tender and still had strong aromas in the glaze. Also the pig bell bacon roasted rice was fantastic, but somewhat less subtle. This dish is comfort food central with dice of crispy pork belly and bacon mixed with fried rice covered with a fried egg. We swore it! I can't wait to come back here and try the rest of the menu.

Delicious! I recommend the yellow tail collar! It takes a little longer, but it is worth waiting! In the middle of time you can enjoy your Sashimi.

The woman in the counter table was super friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good. A star knocked out because I think the food could be a little more tasteful. I'd come back here, but as a second choice.

Fresh take on Asian cuisine- limited seating in a simple setting- the food is phenomenal. Not your normal Asian fair more like Asian fusion. Pot stickers are fantastic and the pork belly fried rice is beyond delish. Well worth the visit.
