Ordered Salpicao Mexikanin for lunch take out. I was a bit impressed with their packaging because the food was properly placed inside a box. Everything inside fits perfectly. The saucy (a bit) salpicao and all the sauces were placed in separate covered containers. Because of this, the dish was very easy to eat. The salpicao was good!! I love how it had a lot of garlic and the sauce was a good complement also. The meat was also tender. The rice had good flavor but the amount was just right that it didn’t overpower the whole dish. I don’t know what the crispy triangles (chips?) were called but they were yummy too! It was crunchy but not hard to bite. It went well with the sour cream and salsa. ----- Less than a week and I’m already back in Madeca, trying another Mexikanin dish. For this visit, I ordered chicken. The chicken was not as flavorful but it was still acceptable for me. I loved their chips (crispy triangles) and their sour cream dip! The chili con carne was also yummy. I tried partnering it with the chips and the rice and it was delicious! I’m not a fan of chili con carne so me loving the taste is something! Haha! ----- Yay for another lunch out in Madeca. Ordered Lechon Kawali Mexikanin because I got so intrigued with the pictures I'm seeing online. The rice, chili con carne and chips were all within expectations as it is not my first time to try it. The lechon kawali was okay. The meat was tender and the skin was a little too crunchy for me. Our group also ordered chips and salsa but I had to order extra sour cream. I prefer partnering their sour cream with the chips than the salsa. Hope they can have an option for that as well - chips and sour cream or chips, salsa and sour cream.
