Bought a voucher on Metro Deal didn't expect much as the voucher was for food and drinks worth Php 500 only. Went with a friend and was pleasantly surprised! Beef salpicao was yummy! ????

Here's another gastronomic adventure with fellow foodies as we visit UPRICE located at the Fourth Level of Two E-Com Center, Ocean Drive in Mall of Asia Complex (MOA), Pasay City. True to it's name, UPRICE specializes with rice meals but their delicious and unique offerings doesn't stop there. An interesting strong flavor of beef greeted us coming from their Spicy Beef Quesadilla. It was served with shoestring potatoes and special sauce. I like it for it's pure beefy goodness. To have a break with the strong flavor from quesadilla, they served us a refreshing salad called Tropical Salad. It was a simple salad but what makes it interesting is the homemade dressing they put on it. I think I can finish two orders of this dish. It's that good! The Nachos and Angry Wings (their version of Buffalo Wings) are generic. There's a certain umami feeling from their Creamy Margherita, penne pasta in rich creamy white sauce.  Another combo that caught my attention is their Tokwa't Keso, a combination of deep fried tofu sauteed in white onions topped with generous amount of cheese.  They next served their best sellers. From Home-Made Corned Beef and Corned Beef Salpicao, to Home-Made Bacon, Grilled Liempo, Pork Binagoongan and Asian Fried Chicken. I personally like Corned Beef Salpicao and Home-Made Bacon. Serving is big and usually good for 2 persons for their rice meals.  To finish the experience, we tried Coconut Blondie, Dark Chocolate Brownie and Crazo (Cupcake Brazo de Mercedes) for dessert. I like the texture of the coconut in Coconut Blondie. The level of sweetness is just right. Nothing special on Dark Chocolate Brownie but Crazo is definitely a winner. It's too sweet for others but for me, it's what you pay for. Haha. Don't forget to share the calories. Over all, I had a great time in UPRICE. The food will never disappoint plus the very accommodating service that they provide. It's worth a visit if you're a fan of fusion cuisine. The place might not be that cozy but the food will definitely keep you coming back. UPRICE main target market are the ones working in the area mostly call center agents. Operation hours are from Mondays to Saturday, 11am to 2pm and 5PM to 11:30PM. ohohleo.ph

Looks seriously can be deceiving. Will never come back in here. Came with family and friends. Sat down and ordered long before all the customers came. after an hour of waiting no sign of orders. Spoke to the Manager and yet seems cannot be bother. She tried but not helping at all. I got up and ask for cutlery on the table as our orders came one by one, with no cutlery at all. Ordered Chicken Pesto but was told its finished and not available after one hour and minutes with complains and follow up already. spoke to the Manager again and was told and asked what was our problem and so kind to say that's only your problem minutes later pesto came without information where did they get the pesto after saying its not available. Service is totally disappointing. Food follows. I guess I should believe that if one thing fail, everything follows. Not fair to entertain other guests and yet our table orders are not even complete.P.S.Be very careful if your table will be outside and near the garden/grass area. Its not even a blind spot in the morning but at night it is. There is a open/hole pavement in there. we need to put chair to block it off as we have kids and we did not notice it on the first place as it was getting dark when we arrived.

I ate here during my lunch break. The place is nice, very well ventilated. Their staffs are very attentive. The food is okay, but it’s a bit pricy. UpriceTaste: br br krizEats
