What Lenna Becker doesn't like about Cafe Maxims:
I'm glad they offer fresh apple juice for 261 php. However there was a swarm of flies sitting on the apples. Can you hire someone to kill the flies. This is an indoor air conditioned cafe. For this many flies the problem must been present for a while. Thought this was an upscale place? Ty. View all feedback.

A bit pricey but the ambience makes up for it. Not too crowded, perfect for when you’re waiting for the musical play you’re gonna watch in their theater.
The coffee is fresh pressed and hot, the staff are friendly, and the traditional Filipino breakfast was beyond delicious.
A good mix of Filipino food and a variety of italian/american food. Their baby back ribs is not that soft compare to other places I’ve been to Manila. The kare kare is good but also not as tender. The spaghetti is really good since my son really enjoyed it. Their flourless chocolate is divine, and the mango cheesecake is just ok for my taste. I would recommend this for tourists who wants to enjoy a Filipino delicacy and also have a taste of their favorite italian/american food. By the way, the espresso is awesome, can’t beat that compare to starbucks.
The breakfast set was great. I tried the pinoy breakfast (with tapa or beef steak) and was surprised with the generous servintg of beef. The breakfast set came with a cup of fee (too small for a coffee junkie like me). Its a really good place to hangout, food is too pricey though.
