Contribute FeedbackOverall, reviews for the restaurant were mixed. The quality of the meat was praised, but some customers faced issues with slow service and uncleanliness. One reviewer enjoyed tasting new menu items solo, while another found it to be a waste of money. Positive reviews highlighted the delicious dishes, comfortable atmosphere, and efficient service. Despite some negative experiences, the majority seemed pleased with their meals at Gyu Kaku.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The raw meat was brought to our table before the grill was even turned on, resulting in us having to wait for someone to come over and switch it on. When we asked for the grill to be oiled, we were informed that they no longer do that, causing our food to burn and stick to the grill. Despite our requests, the grill was not changed. It was a waste of $300 and if I were to visit Gyu Kaku again, I would choose the Burbank location as their service and quality are far superior to what we received in Pasadena yesterday.
We had a fantastic dinner, as usual. However, there was one downside when someone brought their pet dog into the restaurant. It was not a service animal, but a pet that was eating scraps off the floor.
The food was incredible! I hadn't visited this restaurant in years and I brought some first-timers with me. I will definitely be returning soon. Keep up the good work!
It had been years since I had eaten there and decided to go for my birthday with family and friends. Food was good and so was the service.
Like kbbq but worse. Every side dish costs money, whereas in kbbq they give you some banchan for free. Probably wouldn't come back.
