The most traditional sushi bar in Pasadena. Ike San and his staff offer a high end (still moderately favorable) choice of Grandmakase courses at the bar. The grilled octopus is a must, as well as its chawanmushi (Japanese ovarian cartilage).
I love everything here. It's so fresh and the Grandmakase is a surprise every time. You never know what you'll get, but one thing I know is all very fresh and it's good. I can eat every day. I can't wait to go back.
Really incredible. I ate authentic Japanese sushi in Japan. This is the next thing I've seen in the USA. Make sure for reservations both for lunch and dinner. It's almost impossible to get seats, just walk.
Lovely place for a meal. if you get a chance book a spot at the counter and have a chat to the owner EK. Great sense of humour, chefs know how to serve food. Simple, elegant, delicious food
