We started splitting a small simple salad, which is fresh and tasty. For dinner we had the lamb chops,mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The lamb was so tender, cooked to order and perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were so creamy. My husband hates broccoli but loved Gale's broccoli. We had the peach and blueberry crostini. The crust was so flaky and delicious. What User doesn't like about Gale's:
The table setup feels very cold and generic. The 2 seaters are too small and too close to another 2 seater. Menu is old, Same stuff as always. My wife and I said we need to find a better place now. View all feedback.

Eating at Gales is very good. I usually have a good experience but last time I had a waiter that was not very nice and arrogant.
Very good for dinner with family and friends (this was in 2021) On June 11, 2024, we were back to Pasadena again for the Caltech commencement. Gale's is one of the restaurants that I want my family to enjoy. So we are here again. As usual, the food is excellent, and the service is very good as well. We enjoyed a very nice dinner and evening.
Awesome food!!! Everything. I went with some from Sicily and he said it's the closest he's eaten to Sicilian food he's had it here. Definitely with the trip.
