Was R at Foothill a mag?
Perfect spot for brunch! Their waffles are to die for, with the strawberries, whip cream, chocolate syrup, maple syrup, and butter. It was so fluffy and filling! The patio is also so cute with the pretty plants and the sun awning, along with the string lights! View all feedback.
What Geovany Collins dislikes about Foothill:
I went here for the first time recently and because it is walking distance to our home I thought it would be a place we’d return to frequently, until I got the bill. They added an extra $4 service charge for the kitchen staff, which I am totally against. Of course I think their staff should be paid good wages, but I think the owners should pay for that. I’m tired of this whole tipping and service charge nonsense gett... View all feedback.

I usually go to dinner. I was there for Sunday brunch, it was very busy. the noise level was high. everything else fantastic.
Service was super slow. Food was okay. Couldn't tell if they were understaffed or they were just overwhelmed. It was after 8p, so it wasn't packed. Then I got a nastygram for not showing up to my Open Table reservation. My first visit was for brunch, it was empty food was good, service was better. Not sure if I'll give it another shot location is convenient, but not down the street, so I'd have to decide whether the risk was worth the drive.
I would have given Foothill Restaurant 5 stars BUT went for Sunday brunch and the food was good but the noise level was way too loud. Because there really isn't any accoustical buffer like insulation in the ceiling and noise is enhanced from everyone talking having a DJ playing music way too loud ruined the brunch. My guests and I couldn't carry on a normal conversation without yelling and straining our ears to hear one another.
First visit since the takeover of the new chef and we were not disappointed! teufelseier very tasty with a lot of nicely seasoned joch. my linguine bolognese was great! perfect portion to lunch and add some to take home. my wife had the fish tacos and were very well distributed with beautiful little avocado on the side.
They are very with special diet requests. friendly service and good food.

The service was excellent, with the staff being exceptionally polite and respectful. The cocktails we tried were unique and beautifully presented. As for the food, it was okay but not outstanding. I ordered the herb roasted chicken, which turned out to be a bit dry and chewy. However, the roasted potatoes and broccoli on the side were quite good.
The server was fantastic, and the drinks were excellent. I ordered a Rum and Coke, and the bartender poured it generously. I will definitely continue to be a regular here.
The food was fantastic! The ambiance of the place is lovely and perfect for catching up with friends. This was my first visit, and I have no regrets. I will certainly be returning!

Wife and I came here for an anniversary lunch. So happy she suggested it. I got the BBQ Jam Burger. Damn near had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite. It was delicious and then some. She got the BLTA and loved it. I have to say that their onions rings are teetering on 2nd of my list of all time favorites. We will definitely be coming back.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Travis took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed. The prices were reasonable too. Food: 5/5.
They have a parking lot behind the restaurant which is convenient but fills up. Their patio is a wonderful place to eat when it is not oppressively hot. We enjoy bringing out well behaved fur family for outdoor dining.Food: 5/5
Service was great. The staff was very polite and respectful. The cocktails we ordered were unique and presented very artfully. The food was not bad, but nothing exceptional. I ordered the herb roasted chicken and it was kind of dry and chewy. The side of roasted potatoes and broccoli though was good.Parking: Around 10 spots in the back alley. No much street parking
The food was delicious but the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. The outdoor seating was also quite uncomfortable.Food: 5/5

The patio is spacious, and the tables are arranged at a distance that allows for privacy—it's easy to enjoy your own conversation without eavesdropping on others. We tried the fish and chips, along with the burger and beer combo from the happy hour menu, and everything was delicious. The presentation enhanced the appeal of each dish. I particularly loved the grilled lemon that accompanied my fish; it was both beautiful and flavorful, releasing its juices to perfectly soak the breading. Around 6:30, a guitarist arrived and played some lovely flamenco-style music. We didn’t linger too long, just enough to enjoy our meal, but as the sun set, the lights and heaters created a wonderful atmosphere. The old fashioned cocktail was enjoyable, though a bit sweeter than I prefer.
We started with some drinks: the Foothill Old Fashioned, Foothill Fire, Maduro Brown Ale, Victory Golden Monkey, and some water and soda. For appetizers, we ordered Braised Short Rib Sliders, Mac and Cheese, and a Charcuterie board. For the main course, we enjoyed Fish and Chips, Steak Salad, Steak Frites, Coffee-braised Short Rib, and the Soup of the Day, which was Lobster Bisque. The service was excellent, and our food arrived promptly. The staff was very friendly. Since our daughter was feeling cold, they thoughtfully provided her with a personal propane heater. We sat outside in a spacious area that didn’t feel crowded at all, whether inside or out. While we didn't sit at the bar, it looked well-stocked. I highly recommend giving this place a try, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
This upscale American restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes! It features a stylish bar area and outdoor seating that boasts views of the Monrovia mountains. The spacious indoor seating adds to the comfort. The staff is friendly, and the menu items are certainly delicious! There's also a large flat-screen TV showing sports events. Overall, it creates a very cozy atmosphere!
Been going to The Foothill for years now and through the pandemic and before they've remained consistent and steadily grown. Tonight we were served by Travis and his attention to detail was impressive. The sun was setting in our eyes and before we knew it Travis was adjusting an umbrella outside so it didn't get in our eyes during sunset. Truly a gem. Thank you Foothill and Travis!
Good happy hour fulfillment n outdoor experience. Short rib slider and tacos were delicious and loved the ceviche. Not pictured n gobbled creme Brule and chocolate sundae,, also good. Recommend reservations it fills fast.
