The first time here and had great service. Came on a Thursday evening and it wasn't very crowded inside. Sat down my group immediately and the server was very helpful in helping us choose our beers. I enjoyed the On Vacay IPA. Didn't even know it was happy hour, but we got our $5 beers and some nachos and a pepperoni pizza for happy hour price. What Paul Walton doesn't like about Congregation Ale House Pasadena Chapter:
2024 Under new management, everything seems worse. Service was terrible. 15 min to even see a waiter and then 20 min later one of our two entrees came out with a beer, but no napkins or utensils provided. 15 min later the second entree arrived. There was also no soap in bathrooms. This place used to be our favorite and it’s too bad everything changed about it. The beer was tasty though expensive.
Our server was super friendly and tentative Had a great selection of beer as well and complimentary chorizos.
The value for food here is absolutely insane. It is obvious they make most of their money from drinks, which is good for people like me who don’t drink. A double bacon cheeseburger with a mountain of fries for only $22, and let me tell you the burger was massive. Really delicious and the environment gives good vibes with good service. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a decent number of TVs showing sports games.
Excellent service and atmosphere! They have good variety of draft beers. I love their chicharrones with green sauce. Thank you Marcos Hernandez for your great service!

Our server Kyle is king! He was very attentive and knew his way around the menu guiding us to great food decisions despite a busy St. Patrick’s day crowd outside. Get the queso fundido and asada tots for the win. FYI asada fries are on the menu but he know about dem tots.
