We were staying in a rented house minutes from Parthenay so were relieved to find Moopy's open on a Sunday night. The food was very good, pizza, hamburgers and chicken wings to die for. We wanted takeaway and the staff were very accomodating although...busy with the restaraunt itself. We went back again another night as everyone enjoyed the food. View all feedback.
What Charles Diaz doesn't like about Moopy's bay:
friendly setting that has not changed for years. However, the quality is clearly not at the rendezvous: pizza pasta is very medium and fade filling. It is all but pizza!The smells of cuisine go to the restaurant room as much to say as to come out from there having the smell of friture is hyper unpleasant. I was recommended this by locals, and I wonder now if that was a joke. It may be different other times of the year, but the fact that before we could drink/eat there were flies all over our drinks and food was horrible. Our waitress...was lovely, she was trying her best and we felt bad for her as she was working in a place that didn't deserve such good staff. Can't comment on the food as none of us really touched it, had to make dinner at home instead after paying an expensive bill for nothing.
Have been here several times over the last years. Good food; on this occasion, burgers and chips, neopolitan pizza, a partially American menu. Wine by the glass over priced but good service and a pleasant enough atmosphere.

Casual restaurant with good selection pizza, pasta, burgers as well as specialities. We enjoy coming here as well the same chain restaurant in Bressuire, which is larger.
Excellent and interesting menu, the prices were reasonable and our waitress was efficient and pleasant. Nathalie at the Hotel St. Jacques recommended Moopy's and she did us a favour by doing so.
