What User doesn't like about Starbucks:
It’s a big Starbucks with indoor and outdoor seating. Nice and new. It’s a franchise so cannot use your rewards. Staff are a little bit in Lala land. Three were standing at the back counter and took a while for them to notice me standing there. Got a fork instead of knife to butter my bagel. View all feedback.
I came in with my mom all the way from manitoba and the cashier was taking our order, she was overall really nice she had glasses on , however she asked me how i wanted my drink made and honestly i order this drink everytime i go to starbucks and never had an option so i was a bit confused as you can imagine, so as i’m talking, this girl sadie/ saddie i believe her name is interrupted me and aggressively gave me the same three options and even ended up choosing for me WITHOUT asking if i was ok with it. i already had a long ride so i didn’t really wanna deal with her attitude, once we got our drink my mother took literally one sip it wasn’t even a second before sadie was “pUt YoUr MaSK On” she was sooo rude gave my mom attitude and made faces. even when i sat down for one second hoping it would be ok to take a sip she came towards me and harassed me to put my mask on, and to give her my id and my vaccination stuff which is understandable, but i had never had ANYONE literally come up to my face and start arguing with me, telling me to GET OUT. she had absolutely no manners, i’m guessing it was her first day too because the drinks were horrible. anyway i will never be coming back to this place and i don’t recommend anyone to go and if you do stay away from a blonde fried hair girl named saddie. unless someone teaches her how to talk to adults/ you wanna be disrespectful. Everyone else was nice ish. guess that’s how people act when they live in the middle of nowhere..
Way to go Starbucks of Parry Sound!!! I’ve been a loyal customer since the day y’all opened! As of the last several months, wait times in the drive thru have been nearly non-existent!!! Only downfall is occasionally I get a drink that’s not full enough! I want value! Please fill all the way to the top!!!
Great coffee as usual, as quickly as possible, but don't count on using the restrooms....they were lined up out the door from the CTC gas bar (shared). I felt sorry for staff who also have to wait in those lineups not fair to employees at all!
Please use this review as a way of learning and correcting the issue and not as an insult. Starbucks has some amazing drinks and I think its awesome Parry Sound actually has a store We have a cottage in Sequin and visit Parry sound pretty much every time we come up. Summer, Fall, Spring Winter. Being an everyday Starbucks drinker at home, i always make a trip or have someone in my family make a trip here whenever they need to go into town for something. Over the years, my drinks from this location has been at best mediocre, compared to Starbucks I am used to. 9/10 times, something is missing or off with my drink or others who are with me. Pros. Majority of the staff are very friendly and take the time to make small talk with you while you are waiting for your drink. Most of the time, the store itself is clean. Especially when you have campers coming in to use the washrooms. Cons 1. located right off the highway, the store can get extremely busy, especially on long weekends. This causes rush jobs on orders which leads to mistakes. Plan ahead and schedule more staff, if possible. I don’t even bother with drive thru anymore.. it’s generally always slow and my drinks are completed wrong.. which forces me to park and go into the store to fix. 2. New employees being trained at the wrong time. Saturday Long weekend in May, it took me 10 minutes for the barista taking my order to punch in the order right. she was new and had no one helping her. 3. As stated above, 90% of the time. Drinks ordered from this location are wrong. Missing vanilla syrup, missing caramel in a caramel macchiato , burnt espresso beans, and the one that gets me all the time, foam when asked for no foam. I know it can get stressful when you have a line out the door, but you need to represent your product well and provide good quality drinks. you can’t expect someone to pay $7.00 for a drink which is what my everyday drink cost) and not make it right. I never planned on writing a review as I haven’t all these years, but yesterday morning my husband picked up our usual drinks for our ride home and my drink tasted burn and my drink had foam, which I asked for no foam. It’s getting super annoying to keep getting incorrect drinks. The store was empty at this point. So no excuse. I’m tired of getting horrible drinks and complaining to my family/friends. Hopefully, this review will guide the manager of the store to provide the proper training and proper staff scheduling to improve the quality of drinks you are serving. Hopefully, the next time I visit, I will see improvements.
