Laredo Taco Company - Parrish

Honestly would give zero stars if that was an option. I have never in my life left a web review on a restaurant. This absolutely needed to be done. Laredo taco in Parrish is a danger to the people consuming the food. On numerous occasions we have recieved old food that has been sitting out for hours. Completely unsafe to eat. Just yesterday my husband got a breakfast burrito with chorizo and after taking one bite he tasted a strong chemical, what tasted like perhaps a cleaning agent. We have tried talking to management. Tried talking to corporate. All to no avail. Most times to get attitude and a very much take it or leave it kind of attitude. This place is bad news and someone is seriously going to get sick. Please stay away.

When Laredo first opened the food was fresh, surprisingly good along with a nice fresh bar to top your selection. The last three times I have been the service was abysmal, basically felt like I was bothering them. The last time I was there on a Sunday morning the food looked completely dried out and overcooked. Unless they make some supervisory changes and follow hold time guidelines for prepared food I'd recommend going elsewhere.

A step up from Taco Bell! Tried taco plate and a chicken fajita. Both were quite good. Did not see any of the problems mentioned in older reviews. Food was fresh, staff friendly and helpful. Will go again.

Don't waste your here! Staff were all friendly enough, but the food, let's just say I wish we had stayed to eat, so I could have demanded my back. I chewed at one bite then spit it out for fear of food poisoning. The steak piece was crunchy. Not like a nice gentle outer crunch and soft inside, but a crunch like it had been deep fried. It was well past it's hold time! If I weren't afraid of being on hold for hours, I would call the health department on them.

This place is awesome! The Carnitas tacos were amazing. I had the spicy version with the fresh sliced jalapeños grilled in with the meat. The Carnitas were the best I?ve ever had. And I?m from Northern Mexico (CA???? Crispy and seasoned on the outside and tender and loaded with flavor on the inside. Authentic Mexican style tortillas and a fresh salsa bar to add to the experience. JJ, my host was friendly, courteous and professional. Add to that the convenience of being inside a beautiful brand new 7-11. You can?t go wrong for a tasty quick lunch. Based on my experience, These poor reviews on this place do not give it justice and are ridiculous. Did I mention it was only $6 for two loaded tacos? Yeah 5 stars all the way!
