Description

Once a local favorite known for generous portions and classic Chinese dishes like orange chicken and Hong Kong chicken, this restaurant has seen a decline in service quality. While the food remains decent and affordable with some vegetarian options available, inconsistencies are evident—such as overly bready chicken, oily crab Rangoon, and underseasoned soups. Service issues include slow responses, rude behavior from staff, and questionable tipping interactions, which have marred the dining experience for many patrons. Despite its nostalgic charm and occasional standout dishes, recent visits suggest the establishment is struggling to maintain the high standards it was once praised for.

I had a really disappointing experience with the service at this restaurant. The server only checked on my table once and refilled my water just once as well. She didn't bring the check or any boxes for leftovers, and her attitude was quite rude. To make matters worse, she even asked for a tip after providing such poor service.

The food lacked flavor, and the waitress was quite slow, only returning to our table once or twice without checking if we needed anything. I had to remind her about the soup I had ordered. Our drinks weren't refilled, and we had to go to the hostess stand to request the check, which was never brought to us. The server was also quite disrespectful.

I enjoy the orange chicken, but I'm currently in debt to Mastercard for $7,634, and they are trying to send armed officers to my home. I need to keep this brief.

Love the background music! Have been going since before the move to the current location. The food is your typical Chinese but it’s good. Even the lunch combo portions are huge. We had the sweet n sour chicken and egg foo young lunch combos. With drink and tip was only $27. The service was a little slow yesterday but I attribute that to a new server.

This place is officially off of my radar going forward. I view General Tso as the cheese pizza of Chinese restaurants. If you can 't get the basics down, how will anything else be of high quality. I 'm not sure why this place chooses to be the only one that uses the type of chicken/breading that they do but, pair the bready outside with their watery sauce and you just get sopping pieces of chicken in a liquid that feels like they tried to flavor it just a little bit. My crab Rangoon tasted more like the fryer than it did any cream cheese or crab . Makes sense why there was a pool of oil at the bottom of my container.
