We went to this restaurant during the day trip we took to Parma. The restaurant is located near the center, but slightly out of the way in a slightly side street but really nice. It presents well with a thoughtful design. It was truly a wonderful discovery! We did the tasting menu of the Parma tradition. It was all really delicious: the quality of the cured meats on the platter was excellent, the aniolini were truly spectacular and the bacon was exceptional. Really friendly and attentive staff. In addition to the possibility of the traditional tasting menu, there were other really inviting dishes not linked to local tradition. Fair prices too. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Parma together with Soj ahead of all the others. It was a wonderful discovery and I will definitely return. Let's start from the very welcoming place, a bistro atmosphere with a clear attention to art and beauty, warm, relaxing with the right ambient music. Very attentive service from the owners both in the welcome and in the presentation of the menu with a brief description of the philosophy of the cuisine and the dishes offered which are divided into two sections: the more gourmet and extensive one which includes their most interesting proposals and the traditional one for those he wants to eat parmesan, finally a dish of the month, a sort of high-level off-menu. I chose exactly that, a spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli pepper skillfully creamed with very fresh sea urchins. A real delight. We tasted other very interesting proposals such as the very balanced and surprising veal head with mackerel, a textbook creamed cod and a touching guinea fowl with balsamic vinegar. The wine list is excellent with a wide selection of small producers, many of which produce organic and natural wines. There is also a wide choice of interesting glasses thanks to the use of coravin that I noticed in the bar area. Correct quality/price ratio, in fact for the quality level of the cuisine, cellar and service I would say it is very convenient.
