I stopped by the Parma branch for a spot of lunch... read more I’ve visited a few Pizzium chains and they all have the same menu, as well as different staff and pizza chefs. I stopped by the Parma branch for a spot of lunch and was so glad to have done so: the ‘Molise’ pizza I ordered came from oven to table in what felt like several seconds, meaning it was extremely fresh and piping hot. This is when Neapolitan pizza is at its very best, almost otherworldly in its deliciousness. Nothing frustrates me more than waiting staff being sluggish bringing pizzas to guests’ tables; fortunately, in Parma they seemed to sense my need for speed. I loved the slightly spicy salami on the pizza and the quality of the other ingredients was also extremely high and the pizza well made. Washed down with an Aperol spritz and a macchiato to finish, is there anything better in this life than amazing Neapolitan pizza at lunchtime? No, there is most certainly not.
