Food is on the same level as bay area/san Jose. Why not 5 stars? DEAR vietnamese business owners. Please put a little into better tables that are sturdy and balanced so a natural nudge from leaning against the table doesn't MOVE the table and spill the BOILING hot soups you serve. Please stop trying to save a penny while exposing yourself to million dollar burn lawsuits. I love your food. I drive 40 minutes to enjoy... View all feedback.
What The Nguyen F doesn't like about Tứ Quý:
I often order duck salad with vermicelli and I really like the salad and duck meat (good portion of lean meat). However, recently when I order the duck salad, there was just a drumstick which was not as much meat as before The duck meat was also too cold. It's not a good idea to serve cold meat in Vietnamese duck salad dish. There was also one time my husband ordered spicy beef noodle and they forgot to put beef into... View all feedback.
My nail tech recommended I go here. I finally had the chance to. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue. I love that soups come out in a clay pot, and noodles are served separately. That way you can add noodles as you eat. I tend to get really overwhelmed when there are too much noodles in my bowl. I definitely ate everything. You can definitely eat too much if you 're not careful because the noodles aren 't overwhelmingly swimming in your bowl. Lol. It was easy to say, Oh, maybe I 'll add a little more noodles into my bowl! Food was delicious.Service was good. Nothing crazy. Ambiance is like any other Vietnamese spot.
Very busy so a bit slow but the foods are good.Dried rib noodles and vermicelli vermicelli ?
Not sure what's the hype with this place... came in when it seems to be fairly busy, but to be 30 minutes in and still haven't gotten our food.. all we ordered was their popular bun Bo hue. I can tell the staff is very young and uncoordinated, there were tables after us whos receiving drinks and utensils before us. It's very frustrating to take this long for a good item when 90% of the ingredients from the meat to soup base is already prepared and it's as easy as scooping broth into a bowl. I'm going to be honest, it's been 35 minutes and yet to have gotten our food and I took it upon myself to start writing this review, because I don't think I can give this place a higher rating even if the food is excellent, customer services and serving food in a timely fashion is a big part of it. Again, 30+ minutes and no food, other customers after us have been served same items we ordered, and staff is very uncoordinated.FINALLy getting our food at about the 40 minutes mark, I can tell the hot stone bowl the bun Bo hue is served in did added the temperature aspect to it which is great. Flavor is nothing special or out of this world, very comparable to couple local spots in the area. My wife being her 3rd time here says today the portion and Ingredients was lacking. This establishment closes very early compare to most noodle shops in area by a great deal, but we arrived at 12pm and it's 1pm atm, maybe they didn't expect it to be busier than normal? But to skimp on the portions? Ridiculous. I wouldn't say don't come here, it's not bad! It's just my opinion about the services and timing of everything. But if you want more options like egg rolls, or other appetizers with your noodle soup, this place isn't it. Limited menu.Lastly, at the 20 minutes mark my ice tea cup was empty and now nearing the end of my meal, yet to have gotten a refill or an offer to
Pho Ga, tried not to compare to Anh Dao but kept thinking about it like a fat kid cheat day.Good different from Anh Dao but good, had ginger dip sauce for chicken.
Food was meh! Service is ok. They recently remodeled and of course the foods taste different . I used to take out banh canh cua during covid. It was so flavorful at the time. Now its bland and just not it. Banh canh cua is market price so be aware. They charged 25$ for a bowl of banh canh cua without letting us know the price beforehand. If i was its $25 i probably wont order it. The crab was so small and wasnt worth it. Such a bummer!
