This Subway location is great—it's clean and efficient. The food is consistently fresh, and it's definitely the quickest option in town when you're in a hurry. View all feedback.
What Dakodah Peterson dislikes about Subway:
The toppings were extremely sparse, making it feel less like a typical "Subway" sandwich. The bathrooms were out of order. The cucumbers were sliced so thinly that I was actually surprised, and this was true for the other produce as well. Additionally, the bread was smaller than what you'd expect for a footlong sandwich. Overall, this is the worst place to get a Subway sandwich. If you're looking for a good one, I re... View all feedback.
I keep giving this place a chance, but I continually end up disappointed. I ordered a footlong and only received one small scoop of avocado, despite paying for it. They seem to prioritize cutting costs over providing good service. From now on, I’ll just make my own sandwiches and salads. I won’t be coming back to this location. The one in Wembley Mall isn’t much better, either. Parksville just isn't a great option.

As usual, the customer service and atmosphere were uninviting. I'm not sure how the staff is treated at this location or why it is the way it is, but every time I've visited since the new owners took over, the employees seem unhappy, almost as if they dislike their jobs and the food they prepare. The food was decent; it had been a while since I last ate at Subway. They've definitely skimped a bit on some of the toppings, especially the meats, but overall it wasn't too bad. I understand that many restaurants are having to make compromises to stay afloat these days.
On Friday, September 10th, around 12:30 PM, we visited this Subway location. There was a long line, but the three staff members working at the front were truly impressive. They worked quickly, helped one another, and were incredibly efficient. I hope the owner appreciates the remarkable team they have. We were very impressed!
