I had a lovely early lunch at La Petite Crêperie today! Being a fan of everything lemon, I ordered the lemon and earthy crêpe with strawberry coulis and a side of whipped cream, which was absolutely delicious! However, I have to knock a star off the review because my partner ordered a speck, egg, and cheese crêpe, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The crêpes themselves seemed a bit thick. Another downsid... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Petite Creperie:
For a restaurant that specializes in crepes, they really don't seem to know how to make them. The texture was more like a pancake rather than a proper crepe. The savory filling was good, but the sweet ones improved only slightly thanks to the Nutella and berries. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend visiting. View all feedback.
What a fantastic way to start the day! My sister brought my daughter and me (we live in California, while she lives in Elizabeth) to this restaurant, as she had been eager to try it for a while. We were all absolutely delighted with our experience! The food, the atmosphere, and the weather all contributed to a perfect outing! My daughter had the Strawberry and Lemon Curd, which we all agreed was the best dish since we sampled each other's orders. I enjoyed the Honey Smoked Salmon and Dill Cheese, while my sister went for the Ham Gruyere. We also each ordered hot drinks: my daughter had Hot Chocolate, I had a cappuccino, and my sister chose an Americano. I already know what I'll be having on my next visit—the Strawberry and Lemon Curd... delicious!
We visited for lunch and while the savory crepes were quite tasty, at over $11 each, they felt overpriced for what you receive, especially since you order at a counter and they are served on paper plates. A simple small salad would have made it a perfect light meal, but strangely, there were no sides available at all. We left feeling a bit hungry and disappointed.
I really enjoyed my early lunch at La Petite Creperie today! As a fan of all things lemon, I opted for the lemon and strawberry crepe with strawberry coulis and a side of whipped cream, and it was absolutely delicious! However, I'm deducting a star from my rating because my husband tried the bacon, egg, and cheese crepe and found it to be just average. Additionally, I felt that the crepes were a bit on the thicker side. My only major disappointment was that by the time we arrived, over 95% of the items in the sweets display were already gone, so I recommend going early if you visit!
There food is absolutely amazing! And staff cares about your experience..come for their amazing crepes and coffee...you will leave with such satisfaction...and a full belly!
For a place that specializes in crepes, they don't know how to make crepes. The spongy texture was more like a pancake, the savory filling was sparse. The sweet ones were a bit better but only because they were redeemed by the Nutella and berries. Notworth the visit.
