The Sundance is CLOSED! Most likely for good. The entire property was sold to private investors, who are reportedly going to build condominiums on the sight, pricey condos, considering the property is right on the Colorado River. Great bar with lots of potential! Just needs some more people to hear about it!
I was stationed MCB Twentynine Palms, ca. 1975-1978 and made it my place to go once twice a month. I always brought a new body with me . No one ever had a complaint... good food, good music, best entertainment I found along that section of the river... I'm very happy to see the joint still rocks. I have to reunite a few dozen leathernecks for a visit. Damn good memories at the SUNDANCE.

Sorry 2 say been there plenty of times just a run down place n dirty to bad no one cares about it anymore n it shows
We were there for Taco Monday. Tacos were excellent! Cost $1.00 a Taco. 2 for 1 margaritas. Very fun and inexpensive evening. I would highly recommend the Sundance Saloon!
