The Woodman - Parkend

Absolutely fantastic pub! my own and my daughter stayed here on the cursed after a walk close to what was a sound! in the picturesque village parking the whole pub was recently renovated at the highest level. they look forward to numerous interior and exterior seats and a beautiful beer garden, which is dog friendly. there is a nice selection of beer and lemons (I recommend the symonds cider in the offer and a good menu. when it was a Sunday, we both had a frying dinner (I had bark meat and my daughter had huh I must say it was one of the best quality roast I had cooked the bark everywhere perfection and the veg was beautiful (certain that they have the cauliflower cheese! also not jump on the bratkartoffels. another thing to mention is how polite and helpful the staff are. I will definitely come back here and it is the place where I would take friends or family, can not wait to go back!

What a wonderful land pub and restaurant. the interior design is so stylish, while it keeps illuminated stonework with many wood, glass and leather in the stunning achievements. the personal could not have been more hospitable or friendly when we came out of the bike with our bikes and entered the beer garden.

My family ate here last Saturday. The burgers and trimmings were great. I had the vegan wellington but it was a quite dry but with soft/soggy pastry more sauce or gravy would have been good. My son had a medium rare steak it was undercooked for his liking they offered a new one or to cook the one he had longer he had it cooked longer but said afterwards it was a bit below expectations. The staff were lovely and helpful. We asked if tips go to the staff and were told since new management had recently taken, over staff only got 50% of the tips! I wanted to tip the staff not the management. It will soon be illegal for management to do this, but the sooner they change that the better.

Food came out and it was cold spoke to the person in charge on front of house and they was very helpful and and changed our meal. Will go back again then next time I am in the area.
