Esty Street - Park Ridge

Never experienced the food. Esty closed for the evening without a call. This happened after calling to modify a reservation and left phone , as instructed, with no call back. Drove to location to modify reservation during published hours but doors were locked. Ended up canceling and rebooking reservation in order to accommodate desired change. Confirmed reservation, but when my party of 7 showed up to Esty a hand written note on the door informed us we would not be dining there. I have heard good things about the food, but I will never know.

Cozy ambiance, great food, delicious drinks, attentive service. Anthony gets 2 thumbs up! He was our server and had a bunch more tables and was absolutely killing it. I’ll definitely be back soon!

The hostess was very apologetic and a guy with tattoos and a grease covered shirt came out and apologized promising the first round is on the restaurant. You can make that the first failure to deliver. Never happened.After a long wait and a 1 1/2 hour conversation with a nice couple ?? ???? ?????? ?????? ?:?? ???. I ordered a drink.However, our ordeal was far from over: ??? ?????????? ????????? ? ????? ?????, ??????? ???? ??? ???????? ?? ???????? ?????? ' ?????, ???????? ???? ????? ?????? ??? ????? ????? ?????? as if cleanliness is a foreign concept to them.?? ????? ?? ????? ?????? ??? ????? ????? ?:?? ??? and when I finally received my drink, when I say received i mean ? ???? ?? ??? ??? ?? ????? ??? ????? ?????? ? ?????????? ?? ??????? ????? ????????.Not to mention the tables are very close and ???? ??? ???????? ??? ??????? ??? ???? ????? ??? ???? ??? ????? ? ? ???? ????.To add insult to injury, ? ??????? ?? ?????? ? ??????? ?????? ?????? ???? ???? ?????? ??????????? ?? ??? ???????? ?? ???? ??? ???????? they allowed to unfold not only for us but several other diners no wonder they charge 25.00 for a missed reservation they can 't keep diners in the place due to the horrendous service.?? ??:?? ??, ??? ? ?????? ????????? ??? ?????? ??? ?????, despite the fact that the nice couple we were speaking sat at the same time as us had already polished off their entire meals and were cracking open a the bottle of wine they ordered 40 minutes earlier that just arrived.In a final act of desperation at about 11:00 PM we paid for our drinks and left a generous 20% tip for the ??????? ?????, ??? ?????? ???? ?????????? ???? ?????????.The cherry on top? ? ?? ???? ??? ????? ??? ?????????? ???????? ?? ?? ??? ????????? ??????????. ? ??? ????????? ??? ?? ??? ???? ????. He was the highlight of the service.A follow up call only served to highlight the delusional state of this establishment. The bartender implored me to praise their Old ?????????? ????? ???? ???????? ?? ????.Save yourself the agony and flee from this place with all the haste you can muster ... Should 've gone to McDonalds.

Our first return to Esty Street since the pandemic. We weren't sure what to expect. Everything was terrific. Full dining room, robust menu, great service and still a beautiful ambiance. We are so happy that nothing had changed. We should have gone back sooner. We will be back for another delicious dinner!

We had a Saturday night reservation but when we arrived at the restaurant the parking lot was empty and the lights were off. The restaurant was closed and neither the restaurant nor open table alerted us to this.
