The Good Life Cafe - Park Rapids

We celebrated a birthday there recently. As always, the food was outstanding, great service and a fun relaxed setting. Appreciate this place being open year round.

My wife and I eat at the Good Life, when we are in Park Rapids. Excellent choices from soup/sandwich, roasted beet salad with goat cheese smur. Bison meatballs sub, (my favorite). The service was friendly and the coffee and ice tea was perfect.

Amazing little gem in a small town. Creative and unusual (but delicious) menu. Staff was friendly and attentive. Reminds me of some cafés in the Twin Cities, but with a more small town atmosphere.

I was pleasantly surprised. It has been a few years since the only other time I was here and it seems much different than I remembered. There are better menu items and a more pleasing atmosphere. I'll be back.

Food is always great, service is great until the end and then you sit waiting for your check for 10 minutes while your kids completely melt. I'm not sure why but every time we come here we have to track down our server to pay.
