I found this sweet family possession/bedient place in a search for waffles/breakfastness that I only wanted close to visiting chicago and wanted serenity the owners was super friendly and these waffles were exactly what I had believed! A hidden gem! The Brot Suppe was fantastic and the Truthahn hamburger was delicious. We also tried a mango smoothie.
I stumbled upon this charming family-owned restaurant while searching for waffles during my visit to Chicago. The owners were very friendly and the waffles were delicious. I only wish I had the chance to try more items on their menu. I will definitely return if I find myself back in Park Forest!
Chef Serenity is a wonderful chef . I had dinner today it was a little delayed. but well worth the wait. everything was delicious so don't forget about this hidden gem for your home cooked dinner and your catering orders.
They are OK. The service is slow. I CALLED in a chicken wrap and TWO smoothies. I was there within 15 minutes And Still Had To Wait FORTY FIVE MINUTES.
Serenity is a hidden gem! She greeted my friend and me with a big smile as soon as we walked in. She provided detailed explanations about the food and its origins. I opted for the loaded panini with a cheese danish, and everything was fresh and tasty. The prices are also quite reasonable. Definitely a worthwhile visit.
