This supermarket is as good as a Chicago national chain supermarket in terms of selection, cleanliness, service, and general ambience. I speak as a Chicago resident who is at least foodie-adjacent. This is not a warehouse store but a large supermarket with many aisles. All the things I would have had on my list at home, from sunflower butter to biscotti to Silk almond-milk based yogurt alternative to quick-cooking st... View all feedback.
What Linda Senne doesn't like about Super One Foods:
The price gouging is extreme and they are the only store within 25 miles. They regularly have expired products in their dairy clearance. Their marked down meat is often brown too yuck. Once they sold me bad salad mix and I returned it. I personally saw them return it to the shelf. It was no longer sealed and I had put my hands in it. Gross! This seems to be a company wide problem as I saw this at several U.P. locations as well this summer (the expired dairy) Their prices are so ridiculous everyone I know is !making the 100 mile round trip to Wal-Mart now. Avoid this place at all costs.
Big thank you to Richard who brightened up my day with his friendly and charming way.
The bagger put the eggs on the bottom of my girl friends food shop and she didnot treat our order respectfully everything else is great
Sadly it's the only choice we have. I get prices are high due to inflation but this store is terrible. Some of the employees act like they are being bothered to do their job. Don't take advantage the fact that you are the only store in town.
Staff is very friendly, but apparently management could use a lesson in having fresh food. Potatoes and onions growing right on the shelf. Meat is pretty bad. We shop Hayward or Minocqua (hour drive) unless it’s something small or urgent. It’s worth the drive to get good meat and produce. If they would just realize they could draw so many more customers with actual fresh food then they would make more money. Too bad, Park Falls is a great town, this store does it a disservice. Again, the staff is amazing, management needs a few business lessons.
