The ambience and service were very nice. We sat in the brasserie portion, which had better views and was less loud and more family friendly. We had a nice window seat. I foolishly ordered the cheeseburger and it was decent but wish I ordered one of the mains. My friend tried the lamb taigalette and other friend had the short rib polenta. We were pleasantly surprised. My favorite was probably the wagyu cappricio appet... View all feedback.
What John H doesn't like about Vista Lounge Terrace:
The little elevator is cool. Other than that we were served overpriced frozen French fries and chicken tenders and it was meh. The black truffle pizza they rave about it also just meh. Not what I was expecting from a St Regis location. Gotta have fresh food and get rid of the frozen stuff View all feedback.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The outdoor seating provides stunning mountain views, and during the summer, you can even see hikers passing by. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional! The Steak Frites were delightful, and the trout was fantastic! I definitely recommend it!
If you're in Salt Lake City, this place is definitely worth a visit. The views are breathtaking, making it an ideal spot to unwind for a bit. I’ve been here multiple times, and each visit has been a pleasure. The staff puts in an incredible amount of effort, attending to guests both indoors and outdoors, as well as at the bar. The drinks and small plates are tasty, and the views are truly unbeatable.
This restaurant offers a breathtaking atmosphere with its beautiful views. We had drinks and appetizers, and everything was truly wonderful!
The atmosphere and service were excellent. We opted to sit in the brasserie area, which offered better views and a quieter, more family-friendly ambiance. We found a lovely table by the window. I regret choosing the cheeseburger; it was just okay, and I wish I had selected one of the main courses instead. My friend ordered the lamb tagine, and another friend had the short rib polenta, both of which were outstanding. My absolute favorite was definitely the wagyu carpaccio appetizer—packed with wonderful flavors, and the warm bread that accompanied it was delicious and paired perfectly. Overall, it was a truly delightful experience after a morning on the slopes!
The service was exceptional; our server was not only attentive but also very friendly. I've heard that it can become quite crowded during the busy ski season, so if you can, I suggest visiting during less busy times.
