Jay Joy - Paris

I wish I had the time to indulge in the whole menu. I had the opportunity to try their vegan cheese from a cheese platter starter I ordered at the Vegetarian Butcher. The cheeses were fantastic, tasting just like traditional French cheese to the point where I was worried I had accidentally eaten real cheese. I particularly enjoyed the ones with mature flavors, such as the blue cheese. This review was last updated on May 16, 2022.

I stopped by the restaurant today and the woman running it was very friendly. She let me try some of her cheeses while explaining the different types and answering all my questions. The cheeses were delicious, beautifully crafted, and had a perfect texture. It was clear that the team had put in a lot of effort to recreate the flavors of traditional French cheeses. The prices were reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend stopping by. Additionally, the shop also offers other vegan food products.

The vegan cheese at this restaurant is absolutely exquisite! The staff offered me a taste of all their different vegan cheese options at the deli. I ended up choosing the blue cheese and was not disappointed! I will definitely be purchasing cheese from Jay Joy again.

Obligatory stop. handmade and at good price vegan cheeses, nothing has to envy animal cheeses. the very nice staff, specifically one of the workers who is willing to explain everything to oted and prove it, also when finishing the purchase gave me some recommendations of vegan sites by paris. goat cheese in particular is very good to support these companies and local initiatives! updated from the previous review on 2022-02-07

I had a horrible day and decided to pop into Jay Joy before heading into my apartment. It was a wonderful decision as I had a lovely encounter with one of their workers (Dmitri) and ended up leaving with some delicious cheeses as well as a block of butter. Everything is vegan and mostly organic I believe. I'm elated to have such a lovely shop nearby. Definitely go check them out if you're a vegan in Paris!! #Veganuary
