I had the plate of the day, a macaroni and cheese with truffle oil that was fabulous. The salad was lightly covered with balsamic vinaigrette. All four of us enjoyed our meals and drinks. Service was very good. I will go back. View all feedback.
What Kreuz doesn't like about La Grille St-Germain:
Tartar which tasted disgusting with fries that tasted awful. Glass of champagne which was off. Awful place. Visit mark and Spencer across the street for much better food. Sandwiches in plastic cartoons for 4 euro. For the 70 EUR we spent you will have better food for a week! View all feedback.
We ate here several times in one week, always enjoyable, good service, and tasty meals. Especially recommend the salmon and cod dishes. Be happy in this lively spot.
A great place for a drink any time of day. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds; the staff are friendly too.
Paid 10 euros for a strawberry mojito, no strawberries, just syrop with ice cubes. also ordered planche antipasta, costs 25€ and we got canned food still in the can!!! the tortilla chips were also old and the grilled vegetables were out of a jar, nothing grilled about it.
Strolling through the lanes of Saint Germain on August 12th we came across this spot and decided to stop for a snack. We ordered a french onion soup and an order of Guacamole tortillas. Although the service was pleasant, the food was absolutely horrible. The french onion soup was sour and tasted like it was made with vinegar. The guacamole was not fresh and the tortillas chips were stale. Within minutes we asked for the bill and left to go someplace else for a snack. It was the worse place we visited during our five day visit in Paris.
Thank you. Simple, friendly, ambient and decor. We ate very well for a reasonable price. Very good address. We'll be back.
